Machine Operation Description

The operator puts the connecting rod that is to be processed into the loading channel. After the machine tool detects the work piece, the feeding mechanism feeds the connecting rod into the guiding mechanism, the work piece enters the grinding area through the guiding mechanism, and then passes through the discharging guiding mechanism after the grinding is completed. The connecting rod being finished will be unloaded automatically with array hanging style. If two  machines are joined together as the processing line, the work piece can enter into the second machine for automatic grinding. When the second machine's loading channel becomes full, the second machine will automatically stop loading, and in the same time, the first machine will also stop working.

In the touch screen, there are two operation selections. One is manual while the other is automatic. After the manual mode is changed to the automatic mode, when the number of connecting rod being processed reach a certain set figure, the loading channel will automatically stop working, and the unloading mechanism will continue to send the connecting rod in the grinding area into the unloading channel, The grindstone will automatically retract and start trimming process and compensation step. After the trimming process is completed, the trimming arm will automatically retract and then the grindstone will enter into the grinding position, the loading channel will automatically start working, and feed the connecting rod for grinding again. It is an automatic trimming and grinding cycle, and repeats in sequence, without manual intervention needed.

According to the geometrical dimensions and process requirements of the machined parts, the trimming frequency and parameters of the grindstones can be adjusted accordingly. When the grindstones have been used to the limit size, the loading channel and the feeding mechanism will stop working and sound and light notice will be prompted. The grinding machine has mechanical and electrical double protection and alarm functions.

Taking the length of the connecting rod of 180 mm as an example, the following precision requirements are achieved after fine grinding:

Thickness difference between two ends: 0.02mm

Parallelism of both ends: 0.015mm  

Flatness of both ends: 0.015mm

Roughness of both ends surface: Ra0.8μm

Acceptance of the machine and technical services

1. Acceptance criteria

1.1 The geometric accuracy of the machine tool shall be implemented according to the accuracy requirement stipulated in the Contract and standard of JB/T 9907.2 - 2014 and JB/T 9907.4 - 2017 from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China.

1.2 The working accuracy of the machine tool is implemented according to the technical agreement signed by both parties.

1.3 Acceptance of the test of the work piece shall be made according to the standards recognized by both parties. Before signing the technical agreement, the Buyer needs to provide the technical drawings, work piece grinding range as well as the relevant technical data and requirements. The drawings must be signed and confirmed by both parties in advance.

2. Acceptance procedure

2.1 Pre-acceptance: At the Manufacturer’s factory, the work pieces for testing are provided by the Buyer. The machine will be shipped by the Manufacturer after passing the work pieces test by the Buyer.

2.2 Final acceptance: At the Buyer’s factory, the Manufacturer shall be responsible for the installation and commissioning of the machine tool, the final acceptance shall be made by the Buyer after grinding test has been passed.

3. Technical services:

3.1 The Manufacturer shall be obliged to provide all technical training services to the Buyer.

3.2 After the final acceptance of the machine tool, the quality guarantee period shall be for one year. During the quality assurance period, if the machine tool goes wrong or machine parts have been  damaged which are not caused by the Buyer, the Manufacturer shall provide free repair service or replace the damaged parts. Video communication on social media through mobile phone or surveillance cameras shall be provided for instant solution to give troubleshooting instructions. The Manufacturer shall reply within 2 hours after receiving the notice to guide the troubleshooting. If necessary, the  factory on-site repair shall be provided by the Manufacturer to clear the trouble.

3.3 After the warranty period expires, the Manufacturer will provide a lifetime preferential technical services and technical support for a wide range, and provide the necessary spare parts in time.

3.4 The Buyer guarantees that the all the products, parts and technical materials provided by the Manufacturer shall not be disclosed to any third party, and do not cooperate with third party to counterfeit the products or parts provided by the Manufacturer.

4. Technical document

4.1 Machine tool manual;

4.2 Machine tool specifications for electrical equipment;

4.3 Manufacturer’s certificate of conformity and packing list.

4.5 Standards

In addition to meeting the specific requirements agreed between the two parties, the equipment shall be made according to the following general standards:

JB/T 9907.2 - 2014 for specifications requirement for double face grinding machines (Standard from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China);

JB/T 9907.4 - 2017 for testing accuracy requirement for double face grinding machines (Standard from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China);

GB/T 5226.1 - 2019 for electrical safty for machinery-electrical equipment (China National Standard,obligatory requirement by China Law);

GB 15760 - 2004 for general safeguarding specification for metal cutting machine tools (China National Standard,obligatory requirement by China Law)
