What are the precautions for installing a fully automatic double end grinding machine seal?
The fully automatic double end grinding machine seal is a device that, under the action of the fluid pressure and elastic force of the compensation mechanism, and in conjunction with the auxiliary seal, keeps the end face (friction pair) perpendicular to the rotating shaft and slides relative to it, thereby preventing fluid leakage. There is an additional friction pair compared to a single sided mechanical seal. Two friction pairs can be composed of two moving rings and two stationary rings respectively, or they can be composed of two moving rings that share a stationary ring or two stationary rings that share a stationary ring. This article introduces the installation steps and precautions for the seal of a fully automatic double end grinding machine.
1. Clean the shaft and sealing chamber.
2. During the installation process, the sealing device of the fully automatic double end grinding machine should be kept clean, especially the sealing surface and auxiliary sealing ring surface should be free of impurities and dust. It is not allowed to wipe the sealing surface with unclean cloth and other objects.
3. Apply lubricating oil or soap to all O-rings installed in the sealing device of the fully automatic double end grinding machine (note: ethylene propylene rubber material cannot come into contact with mineral oil) to facilitate the smooth installation of the mechanical seal.
4. Pay attention to distinguishing the installation direction of the left and right fixing rings and shaft sleeves during installation. When installing a fully automatic double end grinding machine seal that prevents axial displacement of the fixed ring, the snap ring needs to be placed in the corresponding position in the sealing chamber
5. During the installation process, it is strictly prohibited to forcefully collide or strike the sealing components to prevent damage to the fully automatic double end grinding machine seal. The friction surface should be kept clean and should not be coated with any oil.
6. After the sealing installation of the fully automatic double end grinding machine is completed, rotate the rotating shaft by hand to check for friction between the static ring, gland, and shaft sleeve, as well as between the rotating part and the sealing chamber. When the pump shaft rotates one revolution, the pump shaft
should feel uniform force. If it cannot rotate or the local force is high, please check the seal for installation issues. If necessary, disassemble the pump to identify the problem and reinstall it after resolving it.
Before installing and using the machine tool, you need to have a detailed understanding of the manual regarding installation, debugging, operation, and other matters. The machine is well installed on the pouring foundation. The ground needs to be flat and firm, and the anchor bolts need to be fixed to avoid working vibration of the machine.
1. Fully automatic double end grinding machine: After installation, clean the rust proof materials on all parts of the machine tool, then add mechanical lubricating oil on the sliding surface and guide rail, and then manually rotate the handwheel and grinding disc to check if the rotation is normal.
2. Connect to tap water.
3. Check for loose or disconnected circuits, control components, fuses, and connectors.
4. The machine tool needs to be reliably grounded and checked to be correct before connecting to the power supply.
5. Press the main power button, then press the workbench button to move the workbench back and forth.
6. Press the grinding head button and immediately press the stop button. The rotation direction of the grinding head should be consistent with the direction of the calibration arrow, and reverse rotation is not allowed.
7. Pull the manual and automatic handles on the lower side of the grinding power head to check for flexibility. Otherwise, add lubricating oil to the sliding part and pull it several times. The impact blocks on both sides of the workbench are used to adjust the automatic feed speed of the grinding wheel. The feed speed of each grid of the lead screw is 0.25mm. The feed speed is adjusted according to the hardness of the sample. The large range of each segment of the lead screw is not allowed to exceed three grids. When leaving the factory, the automatic feed speed of the grinding head is adjusted to one grid at a time.
8. Turn on the water switch on the workbench fixture, and the cooling water should be sprayed out at a sufficient flow rate.
